万万不能的事情又发生了

我房里的冷气已经罢工一段时间了 (不冷!)。当然， 我是不管它。因为我并不是个非常需要冷气的人。但，最近，天气越来越热。那种万万不能的事情又发生了! 唉! 黄先生又不在。
耽误了很久。。再也不能拖下去了。。只好打电话找修理。。天啊。。不只价钱不合理，还吊起来卖呢。

我这个人是最激不得的，他们的态度激发了我的斗志! 昨晚， 我爬上去， 检查冷气机。就如粱智强的广告一样 - “这边擦擦，那边抹一抹, 清洁溜溜!”

果然， 有效! 冷气好了! 免费!

我真为我自己感到自豪呢! ***仰天长啸*** 那些想坑我钱的无良奸商。。。去死啦!!!

不是万能，但也万万不能

大概是上个星期吧，我那万能的净水过滤器居然‘不干’了。当然，在这之前，它是有发出讯号啦。可是，那讯号也未免太短了吧。

我记得那天一大早， 我习惯性的往我那可爱的水喉一开。。。不得了! 完蛋! 唉，我家男人又不在。 我只好往那机器敲敲打打的，就如一般女生一样。机器或车子档掉了，又严重缺乏修理的知识。。能做什么呢？ 就往那东东敲打，希望我的‘爱抚’能让它起死回生。

但。。。我失败了。

当然，我又发挥另一女人的一大专长 --- 用嘴 --- 投诉。 马上拨个电话给黄先生。
叽哩咕啦外加比手划脚说了一车话。黄先生一句话，让我顿时醒悟。

“机器不能用，煮水吧”

噢，原来曾几何时， 我成了机器的奴隶。我已完全忘了煮开水的‘乐趣’了。所幸的是，我煮开水的日子不长。这个星期六--黄先生就会大老远从印度飞回来解决我的小问题。

所以，有个男人在家还挺有用处的。千万别低估他们而高估自己。 要切记，我们不是个体户，很难独立生存哦。

Joel & Booboo had a great time chasing each other around the curtains..but sorry Lydia, they destroyed your place... I hope you can fix the curtains back.

A Bad Fall :(

Joel had a fall at the clinic while waiting for his turn to have his MMR Jab. I did not realised he had such a bad cut until I put him in the car. Fortunately I discovered it early and sent him back to the clinic immediately for treatment. What a scare! For this, he had to get his wound changed, apply antiseptic cream and complete a course of antibiotics. What a weekend!

First Kids Meal

Joel had his first kids meal, he ate the whole omelette, and had loads of desserts. :O He had inherited his dad's genes very well, he just dont get fat!

The little boss

Joel look like a boss *CEO in the making* in white shirt & a little tie. His jeans was too loose though, so we can see his diapers while he walk. Still a big baby with a small butt..... See that bear harness, he HATES it! Ha ha...

Lo Hei @ Home

First time we had Lo Hei at home. Thanks to Angie & Family. Great Yusheng from Sakae sushi, love their huge, thick slices of salmon.

This is a PIG shaped with oranges, I find it so amazing. Those lion dancing guys did this in like just 10 mins? Guess the 4 numbers within the PIG, I cant figure out. ;)

17 months exactly - walking tall

Joel is 17 mths today... he's learning to walk now, and I got him a new toy - a teddy bear backpack cum Harness. He hates it though :D

And look at this set of clothes - Osh Kosh tee & jeans, thanks to Aunty Ivy, and Clarks shoe from mom. Kids these days are so fortunate. His clothes and shoes are so much more expensive than daddy & mummy's ;)

2nd CNY ~~ learning to walk

Joel has started to walk, we had a hard time trying to restrain him... He had a fall, and had a scratch on his face and eye lid :(
Its happy CNY for him, he ate so much :)

Hair Cut @ The Junior League

Joel had an enjoyable time during his hair cut @ the Junior League. He was treated to toys, Barney, balloons, and lots of entertainment from the stylist to keep him occupied. The end result - a nice new hair style ready for Chinese New Year! $16 well spent!

Its Joel's 2nd Xmas, and daddy's not here with him :( Thought it would be boring but turn out to be not.... Thanks to the Aunty Ivy's family, we went out and had an eventful Xmas holidays... Here's a recap on what we did from xmas thru' to New Year 2007.

Our First Family Holiday to Kuching - Sarawak

We had our first family trip from 7 to 11 Dec. It was such a fun trip, very nice to catch up with everybody we've missed for so long. Joel was rather well behaved in the flight both ways, he fell asleep. Thank God! I guessed he enjoyed the trip, having had his dearest daddy with him all day, and so many people giving him attention he needed. We hope to be able to go for another holiday next year!

Lots of Updates

Wow! I'm so busy with so many year end events, I have no time to update my precious blog. So here is a summary of what Joel did over the past few weeks. Coming up... our 1st family holiday to Kuching! Look out for the photos!

Big Feet

Joel has inherited yet another of his daddy's genes. They both have big feet! Jackson wore a whopping size 9 to 10. Big considering his slim build. And Joel.... I let him tried on the shoes my cousin Christine gave. The shoe was meant for 18-24 mths. Fortunately I let him tried on, it fits him perfectly! Better let him wear now. :s

Sleep position

Tried to pat him to sleep but he was tossing & turning. Then he crawl out to the sofa, climb on it, watch TV with me, and when I looked back at him, he's sound asleep, I just couldn't stop laughing, his sleeping pose is hilarious! Joel never fails to make me laugh. :)
