Very quite xmas. We did not attend any church/ cellgroup party this year. But we have daddy back! That alone is enough to keep our holidays happy!

Birthday Dinner

Excellent food @ Tunglok Signatures. Joel had his wildest night, eating, drinking (red wine!), making merry. The aftermath? Nightmare that lasted an hour... poor ME who had to pacify him!

Interactive Game

So many kids were in that interactive pad, leaving Joel no space. He's one of the samller kids, were being shoved away by some big bullies. He went out, ran around, and back into the game again.

Hairy Crab Experience

$38++ for such a small crab, not much meat.. dont like the strong vinegar smell. I still prefer the Big chilli Crab! 1st and the last time!

Thanks for the effort! Its only a 2 day working trip, yet we have gifts.

Surprise!

Daddy bought us gifts (Benneton!) from India. The 2 tops fits Joel perfectly.. but daddy must hv not seen me for 2 years, I can no longer fit into an S size. I bot a cute doggie backpack for Joel.

Our "Date"

Joel was so happy that I took a half day off to bring him out.. He love the Mac & Cheese @ Swensen's. I told him Barney love this dish, and sang him the Mac-yummy song.

Birthday Bonanza

It was a long weekend for us. Our celebration stretched from 21 Sept (Fri) through to 23 Sept (Sun). Needless to say, Joel had the most wonderful time. We did alot of things, went places...
IMM (too bad the big playground is under reno), Globetrotter (happiest - there is a play area, but we are not happy - food is lousy), went to a HK cafe @ Sunset Way (Good Food), even went to Hawker Centre for snacks. We discovered at the hawker that Joel could sit very well on the small tool, and didn't move about unneccessarily. Good Kid! Oh and we went Marche @ Vivo on Sunday night. Joel was very cranky throughout, everyone could hear him screaming and we were so embarrased. Must be due to the jab in the morning. Happy Birthday Jojobee! Daddy & Mommy love you so much!!

Party

Had a cosy little party for Joel's 2nd birthday. Just our families and a very close friend. Thanks to all who made it, the gifts (Nike again!), the red packets. Joel is such a blessed boy.

Lucky!!

Brought Joel to AMK Hub, hoping to get the little tyke car @ Fair Price. We did not harbour hope at all cos its crowded at 1pm.. but we are so blessed! We got the car immediately when we got into a store. One kind lady ask if we want it as she is going off. Joel was so happy driving the car around hppily sipping his drink. He got so excited and past his nap time, he finally doze off in his stroller.. that position was not changed at all! Muahaha.

At Last!!!

The procrastination has finally ended!! I have officially opened a bank account for Joel. We have been delaying since his 1st & 2nd CNY, 1st birthday... He's going to love the gift.

Such Adorable Pups!!

Joel got all so excited upon seeing the little puppies, even if its just looking at them through glass. He laughed so loud, and kept cooing at them. But sorry, we are not getting a live toy for him. Taking care of him - our live toy, already took away most of our time :)

I felt like getting one home too.... simply adorable. Its ok, we are going Joel to the zoo, he can ogle over the different kinds of animals there.

Korean Buffet

Tried out this new restaurant... Tucked away at a far far away land..

As usual, very typical too see a wide spread of Korean appetiser. That long row of vege, we are supposed to use the vege to wrap the BBQ meat, different variety of vege with green chilli & garlic. We did not touch it at all, not very use to the wrapping thing.

Joel's Lunch ~~ Bibimbap, he love it. But his focus is not on the food, it the playground inside the restaurant. However, he can forget about visiting again.. the food & price does not warrant a 2nd visit. At $70++ bill, we would expect better quality of food & service, however, we dont get it. So that's it!

Copy Cat

Joel loves to bring an item out every morning. First his jacket, then his water bottle... today, his fave toy ball. I told him dont bring out, leave it at home.. but he resist, he MUST bring it out. I suppose he copy his peers action. I was told his friends also brought different things everyday... see the way he hold his ball, like professional footballer, use one hand... ha ha ha.

Super Star in the making

He loves to sing & dance.. Gets all excited with pop songs, not those Barney songs.. I guess I sang too much KTV when I was pregnant with him. he even fix that bowling pint onto a "mike stand", which is his basket ball pole. But I did not take a pic of that, because I was busy trying to block him off from flinging that pole too near our LCD TV :s

No Cakes Please

He doesn't like cakes these days. He dont like the muffin I gave him on Sat morning. When I ordered a blueberry cheesecake at Taka in the afternoon, just one small piece of cake... he gave me a grim face. No choice, I had to grow fat with the cakes & muffins, he doesnt want to share out the fats & calories with me :(

Boring August

What a boring month. Daddy's not in the entire month! Wkends is just so different w/out the papa around. Fortunately, Joel had ditched the biggest bad habit he has cultivated at the old nanny's place -- to be carried all the time! I bought him a buggy, 3.8kg super light weight one. I tried to bring him out to Raffles City on National Day, and I was glad! He sat on the buggy for hours! I guess he just loves to be "driven" around. Then I brought him to Causeway Point on another wkend, he sat in too. Of course, we were so bored, I tied his hair,w/out him knowing of course.

Dont be mistaken by that grumpy face, he's super happy @ the Jap restaurant.

Indoor Playground

Brought Joel to a indoor playground... luckily the swelling has subsided. The place is called Atlantis @ Delta ~ http://www.playtime-recreations.com/. Paid $4 an hour, Joel resist to go after the one hr is up. But no, I am not extending beyond an hour. Then we went Anchor Point & share a pasta. So tiring to bring him out alone!

Oh My God!

I dont know how he can fell till like this... he stood up, face the back of the stroller. The stroller couldnt take his weight as he was standing facing the back of the stroller. Then there he goes, fell big time.. what a huge bump! Fortunately the swelling went off the next day, else I will have to bring him see a doctor. Rubbing using a hard boil egg works.
