Tedious Process

Joel gave me a very difficult time on toilet training. I tried to put him on a potty again, he did not resist much. However, still refuse to pee in the potty. I did some readings, boy are generally slower than gals in toilet training. How slow?? I'm really losing my patience..

NO!!! Dont go in !!!

New behaviour! Joel wants to explore shops now! If he see a shop he's interested, he wants to go in. I have to try to stop him from walking into a restaurant for no reason at all. But I was too late to stop him from stepping into the Pacific Coffee. I hate their coffee, taste bad, and expensive. He walked in, chose a couch (good taste), sat down, and proceed to eat his snacks. So I was forced to drink a cup of lousy coffee. Hng!

Oops I did it again

Patience patience... I kept reminding myself. But I snapped again. Was it my problem or his? Terror 2 or terror mom? I know it was very painful when I saw him crinched in pain, it hurts me too. I couldnt help it, I've used up my energy, my patience... Sorry my dear. I must try to control myself. The wkends are dreadful for you, and me as well. :'(

Budget Dinner

The weather has been bad this weekend. Despite the rain, we went out for dinner, Joel must thank the "Machiks" downstairs, I need an escapade from the lousy music. With so many big ticket items coming up, dinner is on a budget. we went to Sembawang Hills Hawker Centre. The famous grill stall did not failed, the grill fish pasta is superb. Its just a hawker stall but it added good ingredients, I am surprised to find that there is broccoli, and even slices of zuchhini in our pasta. You cant find such veges even in Pasta Mania. And the big plate of pasta with grill fish is just $6.50! We then proceed to drink carrot juice, we had to fight over the glass of juice. Lastly, we went to the old bakery to buy the nice freshly baked breads. Its such a old bakery, every bun is just at $0.60, all the old uncles and aunties in there. So many people, I was trying to protect Joel and pick my buns, the nice aunty gave Joel a little donut to eat. So nice of her! Hardly can find such old stores with nice and warm people, and the price... its still at the old 80s.

Joel did not go to the Sunday playgroup last wk, he was down with a flu. I was worried that 1 wk break will make him go cranky again. I think the incessant nagging helps. He did not cry, and was attentive most of the time. Maybe he behaves better when daddy is not in.
